After converting my hideaway platform to the solo+ model, I got this mattress to have a perfectly fitting mattress and there are so many nice quality of life features on it compared to my larger megamat Duo. The biggest of which are the little tabs that secure it to the platform. Mine also has two valves on it which is interesting, don’t know if that is intentional but it allows for very fast deflations! Packs small fits the platform perfectly, I recommend it.

Used for my 2000 landcruiser 100, barely able to squeeze it into the space created with the 60% side of seats folded down and keeping the single seat up. Works though and is great if you need a third passenger or want some space to swing your legs down or store stuff

I was trying to fit the largest possible sleeping platform into my vehicle which has a modified floor. Reed and his team as Pacific Adventure works answered my questions immediately, provided advice, guidance, and support through the entire process, and when the largest platform didn’t work out, they made returning it and getting the next smaller size so easy.

The actual platform is great. It’s stable, easy to set up or put away, and is extremely high quality. I have already used it and it will be a staple in my car now. I can’t speak to long term durability, but with the quality of the materials, and Reed’s support, I have no concerns using this for years to come.

The extra legs made it so I could have more headroom in my Rav4 setup. I thought I preferred more storage space below but the extra headroom was more comfortable for sleeping. Made it feel less cramped.

I just returned from a week-long fishing and hiking trip in southern and central Colorado. I own a 2026 4Runner and sleeping every night on the Hide3Away Sleeping Platform V2 Solo 24 with an Exped sleeping pad was extremely comfortable. I was able to use your prior suggestion of not using legs on the front-facing part of the bed and just rested the extended poles on the connectors against the raised, folded down rear seats that the new 4Runners have, with the extended poles laying against the seatback. It worked perfectly! I packed a number of necessities (kitchen, personal items, first aid, recovery, etc.) in bins that fit nicely under the HideAway. Also had an electric cooler and solar panels that fit well with the HideAway within the back of the cargo area. An excellent investment for my camping needs.

Excellent modular design, after a month of dispersed camping, and campground settings, adjustability is wonderful, solid design, and execution!

I'm currently on a 5k mile cross-country trip using the platform in my '98 4Runner and its been perfect. I had built a platform in the past out of plywood and 2x4s so I can attest to the struggle that existed before this existed. Keep doing what you do!

Fits perfectly in my recently restored 1997 Land Rover Defender 110. Exactly what I was looking for.

This platform supports two adults (300# total) very well. Having good pads makes all the difference; we use a 4" foam futon + 2" memory foam and sleep very comfortably. Two support beams are difficult to install but the instructions said they would be; I suspect the close tolerances make the frame stronger. All things considered, I am totally satisfied and would buy again!

Using the Slacktide with an XL platform both in a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and in our tent. They fit together perfectly. Love the adjustability of the platform for uneven surfaces and the mattress is super comfy. They pack up small so storage and transport are easy. We love it!

The Pacific Adventure sleeping platform is only 24" wide. My sleeping pad + Zenbivy sleep system is 25" wide. My Zenbivy system moves around on the sleeping platform an inch either way when I use it. I can't help but adjust the position of my Zenbivy periodically during the night when I felt it was hanging off the platform by a couple of inches. Also, my 4" insulated Nemo Equipment sleeping pad was not thick enough to keep me fully comfortable on the sleeping platform which had a lot of hard pieces on the sleeping surface. I will try a 4 inch memory foam pad next. When I tent camp and use my wider cot (the sleeping surface is only canvas or similar material), the associated memory foam mattress is adequate but it is better if I also use the inflated insulated Nemo sleeping pad with it. However, using both pads on the Pacific Adventure sleeping platform would put me too close to my SUV's ceiling. It is a challenge to get on and off the platform since I access it from the back door rather than the hatchback and I position my head close to the front seat area rather than close to the hatchback door. I have to twist myself into a pretzel to get on and off the platform with my head positioned that way. I will try reversing my head orientation the next time I use it but I believe that my face may be placed closer to the ceiling in that orientation. That being said, it works for its intended purpose of providing more storage space in the car and it is lightweight so easy to put in and remove from your vehicle. If I can figure out how to travel with less stuff, since my SUV seats fold down flat, it would be more comfortable to stack both my 4 inch memory foam and 4 inch Nemo inflated insulated sleeping pads on my SUV's floor than use a sleep platform since I can sit up without worrying about my head hitting the ceiling.

One of the reasons we purchased a VW ID Buzz was the potential to set it up for camping. We didn't want a fancy, expensive set up. Just a little more room for storing our minimal gear and something that wouldn't take up too much space in our garage when it wasn't in use.

The Hideaway Platform was the perfect solution for us. Easy to install, easy to use. I made a small modification to the straps that attach to the forward platform edge so they would be easier to use. With adjustable legs and adjustable length of the frame and the perfect width for the back of the Buzz, the platform is great. We are using 4" firm foam mattress and it's very comfy. This is so much better than what I was thinking I might have to build.

Bought one of these with recommendation it fits my gx 470 with the step legs. In actuality, this thing rests on the back seats. Using the shorter legs gives too much height.
I expressed my dissatisfaction with my original purchase. I worked with Reed on getting the longer legs, so i can use it as a standalone cot or for a future vehicle.
This is solid product with solid folks standing behind their company.
If you’re on fence about their products, i recommend going for it.

I have a lot of cots. This is the only one that fits in my Tacoma perfectly. Love that bins also fit underneath. Probably paid too much with the Canada US exchange but could not find an equivalent product in Canada.

I purchased the Hideaway 30” Single for my 2011 RAV4.
I participate in various gravel bike races and sometimes camp onsite. I want to be able to sleep comfortably in my SUV and originally intended to build a DIY wooden platform.
Then after seeing the Hideaway and the ability to quickly assemble/disassemble the unit was the decision game changer for me. It’s light and can be adjusted very quickly to have it positioned correctly in vehicle.

I used it for the first time this past weekend and it was a breeze to setup and with my Exped Megat on top I had surprisingly comfortable good night’s sleep on it.

I highly recommend this setup and totally worth the cost in my opinion.

I suffered last year when sleeping. I went looking for something to sleep on that was comfortable. I found this magamat. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is made of sturdy material. I can easily adjust the firmness. It comes with two different pumps. I can hardly wait to get out camping again.

I value my Independence ! This set up is perfect.
I often need to pull over & nap for a awhile when driving distance. Or even in town. Getting older is no picnic!
This gives me a much needed sense of security.

I have been looking for a sleeping system for my Ineos Grenadier for a while. I am a keen hiker and wanted to be able to drive to the trailhead the night before, set up quickly a comfortable bed, rest and then hike at sunrise without the need to pitching a tent or getting an expensive hotel room.
The Sidekick 24" Sleeping Platform does this and more. I am solo and sleep on my side and so the 24" Sidekick is perfect, it also allows me to just fold down the 60 section of my 60/40 reach bench seat.
The Step Floor leg kit works a treat as my rear bench does not fold down flush with the floor.
I read some other reviews and also added the Exped MegaMat and so glad I did.
It's more comfortable than the bed in my house even with me being a side sleeper.
And when I am not using the sleeping platform, rather than fully remove, I just collapse the length and turn it sideways, and it acts as a great storage platform behind my rear bench doubling my floor space.
Could not be happier and Reed was super nice and responsive to the emails I sent asking him various questions.

Finally got out to put my single platform into use. The design is outstanding; the flexibility to adjust the length and the height for both use in the SUV and in the tent is unmatched. I am impressed with the quality of the build; lightweight but strong poles; quality connections and fittings and easy but sure snap-in pins.

This is a great product, very well made and solid!

I bought this for camping in my 2013 Toyota Tacoma with a shell. This is perfect for my setup: Not only is it a quick and easy bed with storage underneath, but I can also pack it up and store it when I am not using it for camping. Love it.
